Radar & Telemetry Lead – Test Range Solutions

About the role

REMAYA is seeking a Radar & Telemetry Lead to design, plan and manage remote‑sensing solutions for its test range and off‑site operations. The role ensures accurate data capture, system integrity and continuous improvement of radar, electro‑optical and telemetry capabilities supporting live‑fire training for defence forces.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with test specialists and clients to define optimal instrumentation for radar, EO trackers and telemetry.
• Design and validate flight‑termination system setups for air‑test campaigns.
• Create detailed equipment location plans and sensor coverage maps to maximise line‑of‑sight and minimise data loss.
• Produce test procedures and supervise technicians during data acquisition.
• Lead the preparation of test reports and format captured data for client delivery.
• Monitor real‑time radar, EO and telemetry feeds, ensuring performance and data integrity.
• Maintain calibration, validation and documentation of all remote‑sensing equipment.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in radar, telemetry or related remote‑sensing systems, preferably in a defence or test‑range environment.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex test campaigns.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on data accuracy and system reliability.
