Radiographer (X-ray, CT, MRI) – Abu Dhabi

About the role

The Radiographer will deliver patient‑centered imaging services in a busy acute‑care hospital. Working independently or under senior supervision, you will perform a range of general and specialised radiography procedures to support diagnosis and treatment planning.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all general radiography procedures in line with departmental policies, including X‑ray, angiography and fluoroscopy.
• Operate CT and MRI equipment and assist in interventional procedures such as kidney‑stone removal and orthopaedic interventions.
• Evaluate image quality, ensure completeness and forward images to radiologists for reporting.
• Maintain and clean radiology equipment, restock supplies and report incidents or faults promptly.
• Enter accurate data into the Hospital Information System and upload images to the PACS.
• Provide technical advice to medical and technical staff and respond to patient and staff enquiries.

Required profile

• BSc in Radiography or an accredited diploma (minimum 2‑year syllabus).
• Current national licence to practice as a radiographer.
• At least 2 years of experience in a multimodality acute‑care setting, including OR or trauma environments.
• Experience with CT and/or MRI imaging modalities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with X‑ray, angiography and fluoroscopy equipment.
• Operation of CT and MRI scanners.
• Use of PACS and Hospital Information Systems for image management.
• Ability to assess image quality and ensure diagnostic standards.
