Radiography Technologist

About the role

The Radiography Technologist will perform sonography imaging procedures, ensure high‑quality diagnostic images, and support radiology staff at Deira Medical Center in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sonography imaging procedures following departmental policies and protocols.
• Acquire additional images as needed to optimize diagnostic results.
• Evaluate image quality, completeness and forward images to radiologists for review.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, including advanced Doppler scans.
• Enter patient and imaging data into the Hospital Information System and upload images to the PACS.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, report shortages and ensure equipment cleanliness.
• Promote quality and safety, participate in audits and adhere to infection‑control procedures.
• Provide preliminary reports and technical advice to medical staff.

Required profile

• Professional judgment and ethical conduct in imaging examinations.
• Ability to communicate courteously with patients, families and clinical personnel.
• Attention to detail in record‑keeping and quality assurance.

Required skills

• Proficiency in sonography and ultrasound imaging techniques.
• Operation of advanced ultrasound equipment (e.g., Doppler).
• Use of Hospital Information System and PACS for image management.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology relevant to imaging.
