R&D Manager – Dairy & Dairy Alternatives

About the role

Cargill is seeking an experienced R&D Manager to lead technical support and product development for dairy and dairy‑alternative solutions. Based in Dubai, this permanent, full‑time role will involve close interaction with food‑industry customers, internal R&D teams, and cross‑functional partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and support to customers before, during, and after product sales.
• Lead the creation and execution of healthy new‑product‑development (NPD) pipelines for dairy and dairy‑alternative categories.
• Collaborate with internal R&D, manufacturing, food safety, quality, regulatory, marketing, and sales teams to select and deliver projects that drive sales.
• Translate customer needs into actionable solutions and present data, demonstrations, and technical insights.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to enhance Cargill’s product portfolio.

Required profile

• Proven experience in dairy and dairy‑alternative product development – a mandatory requirement.
• Strong ability to work with cross‑functional teams and influence outcomes based on customer feedback.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external presentations.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
