Real Estate Audit Manager

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Manager to lead audit engagements focused on real‑estate portfolios in its Dubai office. The role involves overseeing audits of commercial, residential and mixed‑use properties, ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance and robust internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end audit engagements for real‑estate assets, reviewing financial statements, lease agreements and property valuations.
• Evaluate internal controls over property management, lease administration, capital expenditures and real‑estate transactions.
• Identify risks and control weaknesses, providing practical recommendations to senior management.
• Coordinate with external auditors, legal teams and property managers to gather information and resolve audit issues.
• Prepare detailed audit reports, findings and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Monitor compliance with corporate policies, industry regulations and tax laws related to real estate.

Required profile

• Professional experience in audit, assurance or related financial services, preferably within real‑estate sectors.
• Strong understanding of real‑estate accounting standards, compliance requirements and risk management.
• Ability to lead teams, manage multiple engagements and communicate findings clearly.

Required skills

• Knowledge of real‑estate accounting principles and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience assessing internal controls and audit methodologies.
