About the role
The Recreation Animator is the primary point of contact for guests wishing to enjoy the hotel’s leisure facilities. You will inform, encourage and organise participation in activities across pools, beach, fitness centre, game rooms and children’s programs, creating a fun and safe environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide information about all recreation facilities and promote their use.
- Register, schedule and guide guests for pool, beach, fitness, game‑room and children’s activities.
- Enforce safety rules, monitor activities and respond to emergencies according to procedures.
- Handle point‑of‑sale transactions, process payments for equipment rentals and facility use.
- Assist with private functions, group events and maintain cleanliness of equipment and areas.
- Support guests with disabilities and offer first‑aid assistance until emergency services arrive.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- CPR and First Aid certifications (or equivalent required by local authorities).
- No prior recreation experience required; entry‑level candidates welcomed.
