Recreation Experience Expert

About the role

The Recreation Experience Expert is the primary point of contact for guests who wish to enjoy the hotel’s leisure facilities. Working on‑site at Le Méridien Fujairah, you will create a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable environment across pools, beach, fitness centre, game‑room and children’s activity areas.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about all recreation facilities and programmes.
• Encourage, register and schedule guests for activities, ensuring compliance with safety rules.
• Monitor recreational areas, respond to emergencies, and assist injured guests until medical help arrives.
• Handle point‑of‑sale transactions for equipment rentals, activity fees and retail sales.
• Support private functions and group events held within recreation spaces.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of facilities, equipment and supplies.
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to management.

• Professional appearance and adherence to uniform standards.
• Strong guest‑service orientation, welcoming all visitors and anticipating needs.
• Ability to communicate clearly and courteously, including answering phones with proper etiquette.
• Awareness of safety procedures and willingness to act promptly in emergencies.
• Capability to work collaboratively with team members to achieve common goals.
