Regional Business Development Manager – GCC & North Africa

About the role

We are seeking a highly connected Regional Business Development Manager to drive growth for a leading global manufacturer of industrial coatings and application equipment across the GCC and North Africa. Based in Dubai, you will travel extensively to build long‑term relationships with contractors, distributors, importers and key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities, supporting market expansion in the GCC and North Africa.
• Develop and nurture relationships with contractors, distributors, importers and other strategic partners.
• Support existing partners with product launches, customer demonstrations, technical presentations and training.
• Coordinate participation in trade exhibitions, industry events and marketing initiatives.
• Gather market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing trends and customer insights.
• Facilitate communication between regional partners and global headquarters, providing regular market updates and business reports.
• Enhance brand visibility and strengthen market presence across the region.

Required profile

• 6–10+ years of experience in business development, market development, technical sales or industry representation.
• Strong existing network within painting & coatings, construction finishing, contractors & applicators, or surface technology sectors.
• Proven ability to build relationships with decision‑makers and generate new business.
• Experience supporting distributors or importers through product launches, demonstrations and exhibitions.
• Good understanding of painting, spraying, plastering, coatings or related application processes.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Comfortable working in diverse GCC business environments and willing to travel extensively.
• Fluent in English and Arabic; French or German is a plus.
