Regional Engineering Manager

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a high‑performing Regional Engineering Manager to lead multi‑disciplinary engineering teams across the Middle East. You will be responsible for delivering consultancy projects on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards while building a centre of excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multi‑disciplinary design and engineering inputs for assigned projects.
• Provide technical leadership, oversee major package suppliers and subcontractors, and ensure delivery meets scope, schedule, cost and quality targets.
• Report to the Group Director for the Middle East and collaborate with the D&S Group Engineering Director.
• Drive growth of workshare with Global Design Centres to maximise economies of scale.
• Lead engineering/design reviews, stakeholder engagement and change‑control processes.
• Generate and validate engineering estimates, programmes and execution strategies.
• Maintain technical and quality standards and mentor junior staff.
• Promote safety‑in‑design and foster a positive safety culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multi‑disciplinary engineering teams in a consultancy or construction environment.
• Strong track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and to quality specifications.
• Thought‑leader capable of promoting the Jacobs brand and developing future engineering leaders.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with clients, regulators and third‑party partners.
• Ability to drive innovation, continuous improvement and lessons‑learned processes.
