About the role

The Urgent Care Nurse at Danat Al Emarat Hospital provides timely, patient‑centered care to women presenting with acute, non‑life‑threatening obstetric and gynecological conditions. Working in a dedicated women’s and children’s hospital, the nurse collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, compassion, and efficiency in urgent care settings.

Key responsibilities

• Perform rapid triage and assessment of patients with urgent obstetric and gynecological conditions.
• Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing, including fetal heart rate monitoring (CTG) when required.
• Identify and prioritize patients based on severity to ensure timely intervention.
• Provide emergency nursing care for vaginal bleeding, abdominal pain, early pregnancy complications, and postpartum concerns.
• Assist physicians and midwives in emergency procedures and examinations.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and other prescribed treatments safely and accurately.
• Recognize signs of patient deterioration and initiate appropriate emergency protocols.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
