Registered Nurse – Nursing Services

About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive patient care within Aster DM Healthcare's hospital network in Dubai. This role involves conducting thorough assessments, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and ensuring safe, culturally competent treatment for adult and elderly patients.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and document complete patient assessments using observation, interview, measurement and physical examination.
• Update nursing care plans continuously and initiate discharge planning in collaboration with patients and families.
• Deliver care using the nursing process, set priorities, and delegate supervision to junior staff.
• Coordinate care with other health professionals and ensure non‑discriminatory, culturally competent service.
• Report patient condition each shift and communicate plans to patients, families and the healthcare team.
• Triaging, emergency management (BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP) and safe transportation of critically ill patients.
• Perform cannulation, maintain hydration, and handle medico‑legal cases and sample dispatch.
• Assist ambulance services, manage patient transfers, and provide end‑of‑life care respecting cultural values.
• Monitor equipment, enforce infection‑control protocols, and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Guide and supervise nurse associates and health care assistants.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license in the UAE.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a diverse, non‑judgmental environment while preserving patient dignity.
• Experience in family‑centered care and discharge planning.
• Knowledge of medico‑legal procedures and budget awareness.
