Registered Nurse – Rheumatology (Outpatient)

About the role

The Outpatient Department Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients attending the rheumatology clinic. You will record patient histories, perform diagnostic tests, administer medications and develop care plans together with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate patient histories and clinical data.
• Perform diagnostic investigations and operate relevant medical equipment.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response.
• Develop and update individualized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Provide clear, compassionate communication and education to patients, families and caregivers.
• Uphold Dubai Health Authority guidelines and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality, dignity and respect for cultural and religious beliefs.

Required profile

• UAE Medical Health Authority (DHA) nursing license.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (minimum two‑year program) and registration as a Registered Nurse from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand or Australia.
• Minimum two years of experience in a hospital or similar outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with King’s College Hospital (KCH) policies and initiatives.
