Regulatory Associate – International Regulatory Affairs

About the role

The Regulatory Associate will support global regulatory compliance and intelligence for a portfolio of herbal wellness, food supplement, and cosmetic products. Based in Dubai, the role ensures ingredient and formulation compliance across key markets and keeps the company informed of regulatory changes.

Key responsibilities

• Review regulatory acceptability of herbs, botanicals, and active ingredients for US, EU, APAC, and GCC markets.
• Evaluate excipients and inactive ingredients for permissible use in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and cosmetic dosage forms.
• Monitor global safety alerts, market withdrawals, and updates related to herbal medicines, food supplements, and cosmetics.
• Provide technical and regulatory input for product registration dossiers, renewals, and product claims.
• Interpret and apply regional standards such as FDA, EMA, TGA, SFDA, ESMA, and ASEAN frameworks.
• Continuously track emerging regulations, directives, and guidance across target regions.
• Liaise with global regulatory and trade associations to gather early insights on regulatory developments.
• Develop and maintain a Regulatory Intelligence Tracker and circulate periodic intelligence briefs.

Required profile

• Understanding of regional regulatory standards (FDA, EMA, TGA, SFDA, ESMA, ASEAN).
• Experience reviewing ingredient compliance for herbal, nutraceutical, or cosmetic products.
• Ability to monitor and interpret safety alerts and regulatory updates.
