Relationship Manager – Trade & Working Capital (Retail Banking)

About the role

The Relationship Manager will oversee existing Trade & Working Capital (TWC) relationships and actively acquire new corporate clients for the Business Banking Division. The role focuses on deep‑selling, cross‑selling and becoming the primary bank for each client while ensuring portfolio quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of TWC relationships, improving share of wallet and revenue through cross‑selling of bank products.
• Source new‑to‑bank customers, generate leads from walk‑ins and referrals, and convert opportunities into active relationships.
• Conduct periodic credit reviews, recommend appropriate facilities, and monitor credit risk in line with bank policies.
• Maintain regular client contact, perform on‑site visits, and ensure timely delivery of services and products.
• Coordinate documentation, client inspections, and market feedback to uphold portfolio quality.
• Collaborate with internal risk, compliance and advisory teams to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of banking sales and relationship management experience in the UAE market.
• Strong knowledge of trade finance, working capital products and banking digitisation.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and analytical skills.
• MBA, CA or equivalent qualification preferred.
