Repair & Maintenance Technician – Completion (Emirati)

About the role

Weatherford is seeking a skilled Repair and Maintenance Technician to support completion tools and equipment in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on ensuring operational readiness through inspection, troubleshooting, and repair while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of completion tools and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Operate and maintain workshop equipment, including torque bucking units and pressure test bays.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance and equipment testing while documenting services accurately.
• Ensure compliance with Weatherford procedures, HSE standards, and quality requirements.

Required profile

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2‑3 years of experience in repair and maintenance of completion tools or oil‑and‑gas equipment.
• Proven ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
