Reservation Agent – Restaurant (Madinat Jumeirah)

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Reservation Agent – F&B to join Madinat Jumeirah. The role involves handling restaurant reservations, responding to guest inquiries via email and phone, and ensuring accurate booking information is recorded in the Opera system.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to emails within 24 hours and prioritize current or upcoming bookings.
• Answer calls within three rings, following proper greetings and IFH/LQA standards.
• Collect and update guest details, preferences, special requests, and booking information in Opera.
• Communicate reservation changes, cancellations, and new bookings to relevant departments promptly.
• Guarantee bookings with payment, follow up on no‑shows, and manage applicable charges.
• Reconcile commissionable bookings, verify rates and invoices, and maintain confidential guest and company records.

Required profile

• High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or related field desirable.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar reservation role, preferably in a luxury 5‑star environment.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Strong problem‑solving, leadership, and organizational abilities.
