Reservoir Simulation Engineer

About the role

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Reservoir Simulation Engineer to support a leading Oil & Gas operator in the United Arab Emirates. The role is based in Dubai on a one‑year contract with the possibility of extension, and candidates must be based in the UAE or willing to relocate promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform integrated reservoir evaluations and develop numerical models using industry‑standard simulators, preferably CMG and Eclipse.
• Conduct probabilistic reservoir simulations employing CMOST and MEPO.
• Utilise basic production simulation tools such as Prosper and GAP to support forecasting activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in reservoir simulation within oil and gas operator companies in the region.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex projects and deliver high‑quality models.
• Willingness to relocate to the UAE or already residing in the country.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CMG simulation software.
• Proficiency with Eclipse simulation software.
• Experience using CMOST for probabilistic analysis.
• Experience using MEPO for Monte‑Carlo simulations.
• Familiarity with production simulation tools such as Prosper and GAP.
