Resident Engineer – Construction Supervision

About the role

The Resident Engineer will lead the construction supervision team to ensure timely, on‑budget delivery of civil, infrastructure and highway projects in Dubai. You will coordinate site engineers, surveyors, inspectors and other disciplines, acting as the primary liaison with authorities and the client.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and direct site engineers, surveyors, inspectors and all construction disciplines.
• Make senior‑level project decisions and liaise with relevant authorities.
• Apply knowledge of DM General Conditions of Contract, quality assurance, quantity surveying and project network techniques.
• Prepare instructions, specifications, reports and cost estimates.
• Manage project schedules and budgets to meet contractual commitments.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in civil, infrastructure or highway works.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Excellent time‑management and supervisory abilities.
