Resource Allocator – Aviation Operations

About the role

Emirates SkyCargo is seeking a Resource Allocator to optimise the use of manpower, equipment and facilities across daily cargo operations. You will develop and adjust allocation plans in real‑time, ensuring service level agreements are met while supporting a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare pre‑planning allocation schedules 24‑7 hours ahead, based on expected demand and rostered resources.
• Execute shift‑level allocation, reviewing actual resource availability and adjusting plans accordingly.
• Manage real‑time allocation, responding to dynamic operational changes and unscheduled customer requirements.
• Monitor task progress, adapt plans to address delays or variances between planned and actual times.
• Utilise decision‑support tools such as RMS, RTC, MACS and OPERA to create effective allocation plans.
• Collaborate with shift in‑charge, providing expert advice and input on resource utilisation.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make independent, unbiased decisions.
• Excellent understanding of cargo operations and service level commitments.
• Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
