Restaurant Captain – Dubai

About the role

Apt Resources is looking for an experienced Restaurant Captain to lead front‑of‑house operations at a prestigious dining venue in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while ensuring smooth coordination between service staff, the kitchen, and the bar.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise front‑of‑house team to provide outstanding guest service.
• Manage seating arrangements and reservations to optimise dining flow.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns and feedback with professionalism.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams for timely and accurate service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety in the dining area.
• Train and mentor team members on service protocols and company policies.
• Monitor service‑related inventory and communicate needs to management.
• Prepare regular reports on service performance and guest satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Captain or similar supervisory role in hospitality.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
• Exceptional communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Familiarity with Dubai’s hospitality standards and multicultural guest expectations is preferred.
• Hospitality‑related certification or degree is advantageous.
