About the role

JA Resorts & Hotels is launching a contemporary sports restaurant at JA The Resort, Jebel Ali. The Restaurant General Manager will lead the pre‑opening, launch and ongoing operations, shaping the guest experience and building a high‑performing multicultural team from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the successful pre‑opening, launch and daily operation of the venue.
• Deliver memorable guest experiences that align with luxury hospitality standards.
• Recruit, coach and inspire a diverse team, fostering a culture of empowerment.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability and operational excellence.
• Design and execute innovative promotions, events and sports‑focused experiences.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, inventory control and overall business performance.
• Collaborate with culinary and resort leadership to continuously elevate the concept.
• Maintain high standards of service, safety and brand consistency.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager in luxury hospitality.
• Strong background in sports‑themed venues, sports bars or high‑energy casual dining concepts.
• Exceptional leadership and people‑development abilities.
• Commercial expertise with solid P&L management and revenue‑growth track record.
• Demonstrated success in opening new restaurants and building high‑performing teams.
• Passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences and a positive workplace culture.
