Restaurant Manager

About the role

The Restaurant Manager will lead the day‑to‑day operations of the restaurant and bar at Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara. This full‑time position focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving service excellence in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and control restaurant operations to provide high‑quality dining services.
• Oversee smooth, efficient, and professional daily operations of the restaurant and bar.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the property’s food and beverage offerings to promote to guests.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team during service periods to ensure quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
• Supervise, coach, and train Food & Beverage Attendants, fostering a high‑performing team.
• Manage staff rostering, workflow, and service standards to ensure operational efficiency.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with hygiene, workplace health, and safety standards.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and reporting as required.
• Drive guest satisfaction, service excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Availability to work predominantly evening shifts and weekends.
• Proven ability to supervise, coach, and develop a hospitality team.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage concepts and guest promotion.
• Commitment to maintaining hygiene and health‑and‑safety standards.
