Retail Sales Associate – Customer Service & Operations

About the role

The Retail Staff member will represent the KOTON brand by delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales within the store. The role combines front‑line sales duties with operational responsibilities such as inventory handling and visual merchandising.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, advise on product features, and convert window shoppers into buyers while promoting the Club Apparel Loyalty Program.
• Provide guidance, mentorship and training to entry‑level sales associates and monitor their performance.
• Maintain visual standards, ensure stock is displayed attractively, and follow VM and stock‑norm guidelines.
• Operate the POS system, handle cash, credit cards, vouchers and process refunds accurately.
• Contribute to inventory management, record stock movements and assist with periodic stock counts.
• Uphold security and loss‑prevention policies, ensuring a safe shopping environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• 3–5 years of proven sales experience in a retail environment.
• Presentable, well‑groomed appearance and flexibility to work extended hours during sales periods.
• Up‑to‑date product knowledge and a proactive attitude toward minimizing stock loss.

Required skills

• Proficient operation of POS and cash‑handling systems.
• Experience with inventory management and stock reconciliation.
