Risk Based Inspection (RBI) Engineer – Offshore Project

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Risk Based Inspection (RBI) Engineer to lead offshore asset integrity initiatives for KBR in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on developing, implementing and maintaining RBI programs for pressure equipment and piping systems throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain RBI assessments for offshore facilities following API 580 and API 581 methodologies.
• Conduct qualitative, semi‑quantitative and quantitative RBI studies on pressure vessels, piping, heat exchangers, tanks and related equipment.
• Establish optimized inspection intervals and strategies based on risk profiles.
• Review and continuously update RBI assessments using inspection results, operational changes and corrosion monitoring data.
• Perform integrity assessments, fitness‑for‑service evaluations and remaining‑life calculations for static equipment and piping systems.
• Coordinate with inspection, corrosion, operations, maintenance and engineering teams to ensure compliance with industry codes and standards.

Required profile

• At least 96 months (8 years) of experience in RBI and offshore asset integrity management.
• Strong knowledge of API 510, API 570, API 580, API 581, API 653 and ASME Section VIII.
• Experience with corrosion management programs and remaining life assessments.
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary offshore environments.
