RO Plant and STP Technician

About the role

The RO Plant and STP Technician supports the hotel’s engineering team by responding quickly to guest repair requests and performing routine plumbing and maintenance tasks across Le Méridien Fujairah.

Key responsibilities

• Unclog drains, plunge toilets and repair leaky spigots and faucets.
• Perform minor repairs such as tightening toilet seats, changing light bulbs and patching wall holes.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Maintain daily logs of operations, maintenance activities and safety checks.
• Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues while following company safety policies.
• Inspect tools and equipment for safety hazards and report any issues.
• Assist guests, including individuals with disabilities, in a courteous and professional manner.
• Follow company quality standards and security procedures at all times.
• Ensure personal appearance is clean and professional, and protect company assets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of related plumbing or facilities maintenance experience.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb, work on ladders and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting and stooping.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
