Room Attendant – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Room Attendant at Banyan Tree Dubai ensures that guest rooms and suites are cleaned, maintained, and presented to the highest luxury standards. You will create a welcoming and immaculate environment for every guest while adhering to the brand’s service excellence. The role combines meticulous housekeeping with attentive guest service in a vibrant island‑style resort.

Key responsibilities

• Clean, service, and maintain guest rooms and suites according to brand standards, including making beds, changing linens, and refreshing rooms.
• Sanitize bathrooms, replenish amenities, and ensure all surfaces are spotless.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, providing additional items or amenities as needed.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of public areas, corridors, and back‑of‑house spaces when required.
• Perform evening turndown service, adjusting lighting and preparing amenities for guest comfort.
• Follow all hygiene, safety, and sanitation procedures, handling cleaning chemicals and equipment correctly.
• Report maintenance issues, guest concerns, and lost‑and‑found items to supervisors.

Required profile

• Previous housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel or resort is preferred.
• Understanding of cleaning standards and procedures.
• Ability to work in a physically active role with good stamina.
• Basic communication skills in English.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a guest‑focused mindset.
