Room Service Waiter – Abu Dhabi EDITION

About the role

The Abu Dhabi EDITION is seeking a dedicated Room Service Waiter to deliver high‑quality food and beverage service directly to guests in their rooms. You will be the face of the hotel’s in‑room dining experience, ensuring every order is accurate, timely, and presented with professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests in their rooms.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Answer guest questions on menu selections and communicate any special dietary requirements to the kitchen.
• Record transactions in the MICROS point‑of‑sale system at the time of order.
• Check guest satisfaction after each course and address any concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and service equipment throughout the shift.
• Complete closing duties such as restocking items and turning off lights.
• Present accurate checks to guests and process payments.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies.

Required profile

• Minimum of 12 months experience in room service, hotel, or comparable hospitality role.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and kitchen staff.
• Capability to handle physical demands, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lb unaided.
• Awareness of allergy, dietary, and special request handling procedures.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
