Safety Investigator

About the role

DFS Aviation Services Middle East is seeking a Safety Investigator to lead investigations of safety‑related occurrences in accordance with GCAA and ICAO regulations and the internal Safety Management Manual. The role is based at Al Maktoum Airport (DWC) with regular visits to Dubai International Airport (DXB) and reports to the Safety Team Leader.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct investigations of safety incidents following ICAO Annex 13, GCAA CARs and company policies.
• Identify causal and contributing factors and produce investigation reports.
• Ensure investigation outputs feed into continuous safety improvement processes.
• Maintain and update safety databases and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining professionalism and discretion.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Proven problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
• Experience working with aviation safety management systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
