Safety Officer – Bitumen & Asphalt Industry

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Safety Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, focusing on the bitumen and asphalt sector. The role involves ensuring a safe working environment, complying with UAE HSE regulations, and supporting daily operations in a fast‑paced industrial setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct HSE inspections and audits across the plant.
• Perform risk assessments and develop emergency response plans.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks and regular briefings.
• Monitor compliance with UAE occupational safety and health standards.
• Prepare and submit safety reports and documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of industrial safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the bitumen and/or asphalt industry.
• NEBOSH certification and OSHAD/UAE Occupational Safety & Health certification.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Strong communication and reporting abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a high‑tempo environment.
