Safety Officer

About the role

The Safety Officer will help maintain a safe working environment at Tanis Global’s Dubai site, ensuring compliance with the company’s HSE policies and local safety regulations. You will play a key part in identifying hazards, conducting regular inspections, and promoting a culture of safety across all operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine safety inspections and hazard assessments on construction sites.
• Monitor compliance with HSE policies, local regulations, and industry standards.
• Investigate incidents and near‑misses, preparing reports and corrective action plans.
• Deliver safety briefings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for staff and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate safety documentation, including permits, checklists, and incident logs.
• Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety considerations into planning and execution.

Required profile

• Relevant HSE, Safety, or Occupational Health qualification (preferred).
• Less than one year of experience in a safety role, preferably in civil construction.
• Good knowledge of workplace safety procedures and local UAE regulations.
• Strong observation, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.

• Understanding of HSE policies and safety standards.
