About the role
The Safety Officer shall carry out the day‑to‑day operations of the health and safety of the project site and contribute to the application of effective health and safety management by providing technical support. He must have full knowledge of all aspects of safety material. He shall be conversant with and experienced in general civil engineering construction and emergency procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out day‑to‑day health and safety operations on the project site.
- Provide technical support for effective health‑and‑safety management.
- Maintain relevant records and generate activity reports for risk assessment and risk management.
Required profile
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or Safety and at least two years of safety experience in network construction.
- Valid UAE driving licence and excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Good knowledge of safety and engineering standards (DM and RTA manuals) and traffic diversion schemes.
