About the role
The Sales Assistant is a key member of the Toys "R" Us retail team in Abu Dhabi Mall. You will drive sales while delivering a friendly, engaging customer experience, balancing front‑line service with behind‑the‑scenes store operations.
Key responsibilities
- Greet every customer with a warm, non‑business greeting and provide up‑to‑date product information.
- Promote gift cards and capture customer data for future marketing opportunities.
- Maintain a sparkling, organized store environment, including fitting rooms and cash‑wrap areas.
- Assist customers promptly, aim to add‑on sales, and ensure smooth checkout experiences.
- Thank customers as they leave, invite them to return, and uphold visual presentation standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma.
- 1–2 years of retail sales experience.
- Ability to use basic computer systems for customer data entry.
Required skills
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Proficiency with CAD tools such as AutoCAD or SketchUp.
- Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
- Capability to keep the store clean and well‑organized.
