Sales Development Representative (AI & Cloud)

About the role

A leading global internet and technology company is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Dubai to drive awareness and adoption of its AI and cloud products across the Middle East market. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, curious, and able to speak the language of both technical and business audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Source new sales opportunities by following up on inbound leads and initiating outbound cold calls and emails.
• Analyze customer needs and requirements to better align with their expectations.
• Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate Business Development Manager for further nurturing and closure.
• Assist in the preparation and execution of marketing events and materials, including creative copywriting and designing marketing collateral.
• Use programming skills like Python and SQL to analyze lead data and improve outreach strategies.
• Work with customers to understand technical needs such as APIs and system integration and match them with the right solutions.
• Explain technical details in simple business terms for non‑technical teams.
• Pass qualified leads to Business Development Managers with clear technical background information.
• Track customer opportunities using system tools and prepare reports for sales analysis.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of cloud computing or a strong willingness to learn.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Eagerness to grow in a technical account, business development, or pre‑sales role.
• Proficiency in at least one European foreign language (e.g., German, French, Spanish, Italian).
