Sales Manager GCC Government and Sport

About the role

The Sales Manager will drive room, meeting and banquet revenue for Accor’s hotel in Dubai by targeting the GCC region, government bodies and sports organisations. The role focuses on building strategic partnerships and positioning the property as the preferred venue for accommodation and events across the UAE market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan for GCC, government and sports segments to meet or exceed revenue targets.
• Identify, pursue and secure new business opportunities with ministries, embassies, sports federations, clubs and travel partners.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements, preparing proposals and quotations tailored to client needs.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships through regular communication and service excellence.
• Collaborate with operations, marketing and revenue teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to adjust strategies.
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in the hospitality sector, preferably with exposure to GCC, government and sports markets.
• Strong network of contacts within ministries, sports bodies and travel agencies in the region.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality or related field preferred.
