Sales Manager – Grid Technologies

About the role

Siemens Energy is looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead growth of its Grid Technologies business across the Middle East. Based in Dubai, you will drive business development, manage strategic bids, and secure profitable order intake for high‑voltage solutions and substation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new opportunities with utilities, developers and industrial clients, managing the full sales cycle from lead to contract closure.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders such as utilities, EPCs and developers.
• Maintain accurate market and sales data in Salesforce and internal tools, communicating insights to headquarters.
• Develop marketing concepts, business plans and go‑to‑market strategies for portfolio launches.
• Lead pre‑acquisition activities, including feasibility studies, pricing strategy, bid/no‑bid decisions and project‑winning tactics.
• Coordinate technical clarifications, contract negotiations and order signing while meeting profit targets and compliance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of sales and business development experience in high‑voltage substations, products or services.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in the Middle East grid market.
• Strong commercial acumen, contract negotiation skills and stakeholder management abilities.
