Sales Manager - Social Events

About the role

Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead social events sales. The successful candidate will drive revenue by creating and executing sales strategies for both transient and group business, ensuring exceptional service for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive coverage of the sales portfolio, targeting managerial and departmental executives.
• Implement and execute sales action plans to achieve and exceed targets.
• Establish pricing parameters, prepare quotes, and negotiate contracts for social events.
• Generate and nurture sales leads, providing market feedback on trends and competition.
• Maintain detailed records of major accounts and support the account management system.
• Adhere to selling strategies, maximize upselling opportunities, and ensure client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Degree in sales or related field with at least two years of post‑graduate experience, preferably in the hotel industry.
• Strong presentation and communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Computer literate with proficiency in standard office applications.
• Guest‑focused, proactive, and results‑driven with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
• Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, flexibility, and teamwork.
