Salesforce Data Migration Architect

About the role

The Salesforce Data Migration Architect will lead the end‑to‑end migration architecture for a large‑scale Salesforce transformation program in Dubai. You will design and implement migration solutions that handle terabytes of enterprise data while ensuring data quality, performance, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Define enterprise‑wide Salesforce data migration architecture and source‑to‑target mapping strategy.
• Design scalable migration solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Synapse.
• Architect high‑volume bulk migration mechanisms and data quality, cleansing, and reconciliation frameworks.
• Plan migration waves, cutover strategy, and overall migration governance.
• Drive performance optimisation for multi‑terabyte datasets and monitor ADF pipelines.
• Collaborate with Salesforce architects, business teams, and Azure platform teams.
• Lead risk assessment, mitigation planning, and ensure security, compliance, and audit requirements.

Required profile

• 12+ years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years delivering Salesforce programs.
• 5+ years in Azure data engineering or data migration.
• Experience on at least two large‑scale Salesforce migration projects (>1 TB).

Required skills

• Salesforce platform architecture, Standard and Custom Objects.
• Salesforce Bulk API and integration patterns.
• Azure Data Factory (ADF) design and performance tuning.
• Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL / Synapse.
• Large‑scale data migration, data reconciliation, data quality management.
• ETL/ELT design and migration cutover management.
