SAP Administrator – ECC Support & Development

About the role

Own the day‑to‑day technical and functional running of the SAP landscape and its interfaces – resolving user issues, maintaining configuration and master data, developing and maintaining custom objects, and keeping the system stable, controlled and well documented.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional and technical support for SAP ECC, including incident resolution, user issues, configuration changes and period‑end support within agreed service levels.
• Develop and maintain custom ABAP objects such as reports, function modules, BAPIs/RFCs, IDoc interfaces and enhancements.
• Build, monitor and support interfaces between SAP and third‑party business applications.
• Maintain master data, pricing structures and related controls.
• Manage transports, ensuring changes are tested in a quality environment before production release.
• Administer SAP users, roles and authorisations according to approved procedures.
• Investigate and resolve data and posting errors, performing root‑cause analysis and preventive fixes.
• Coordinate with software vendors and implementation partners on issues and enhancements.
• Produce and maintain technical specifications, process documentation and support procedures.
• Support users with training, guidance and knowledge‑base material.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in SAP support, administration or development.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP ECC (candidates with only S/4HANA will not be considered).
• Practical ABAP development experience (reports, BAPIs/RFCs, IDocs, enhancements and debugging).
• Working functional knowledge of SD, MM and FI from a support perspective.
• Experience supporting interfaces between SAP and external systems.
• Strong written documentation skills and disciplined change‑control approach.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
