Scheduling & Planning Engineer with Document Control – Power Generation

About the role

We are seeking a Scheduling / Planning Engineer with strong document‑control experience to support a confidential power‑generation IPP project in Dubai. The role involves monitoring EPC schedules, reporting progress, analysing critical paths and ensuring all project documentation is properly managed.

Key responsibilities

• Review and monitor EPC contractor schedules for design, procurement, construction, commissioning and start‑up.
• Audit planning procedures and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
• Analyse critical path, schedule logic, progress updates, delay risks and recovery plans.
• Prepare inputs for weekly, monthly and dashboard reports.
• Coordinate with discipline engineers to verify site progress and milestone achievement.
• Maintain the integrated project schedule and support risk identification.
• Establish and manage the project document centre / EDMS, tracking drawings, submittals and approvals.
• Support payment milestone review, claims analysis and change‑order review as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 8–10 years of planning and scheduling experience on EPC or construction projects.
• Strong background in power generation, energy, utilities or industrial projects.
• Excellent coordination and reporting abilities.
