School Receptionist

About the role

We are looking for a professional, highly organised School Receptionist to be the welcoming face of Queen Elizabeth's School, Dubai Sports City. As the first point of contact for parents, students, visitors and contractors, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive first impression and supporting the smooth operation of the front‑of‑house.

Key responsibilities

• Greet visitors, issue passes and ensure safeguarding and security procedures are followed.
• Answer and direct telephone calls, emails and general enquiries promptly.
• Maintain a tidy, professional reception area that reflects the school’s high standards.
• Coordinate meeting‑room bookings, visitor appointments, courier deliveries and mail handling.
• Support the set‑up of reception procedures, visitor‑management systems and administrative workflows prior to school opening.
• Manage reception supplies, stationery, uniforms and other front‑of‑house resources.

Required profile

• Personable, proactive and customer‑focused with excellent organisational abilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse school community.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard office equipment and telephone systems.
• Experience using visitor‑management or front‑desk software is a plus.
