Seasonal Palace Host – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Palace Host to join the team at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort for a six‑month seasonal contract. The role focuses on delivering premium guest experiences, managing arrival and departure procedures, and serving as the primary point of contact for in‑house guests.

Key responsibilities

• Build rapport with guests, capture preferences, and ensure privacy and security.
• Execute all arrival and departure procedures in line with the Palace Host SOP manual.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Activities, and Spa departments to exceed guest expectations.
• Drive hotel buggies and successfully pass the buggy driving test.
• Maintain and prepare the Palace Host pantry and operational equipment.
• Update and maintain guest history files and handle feedback efficiently.
• Upsell rooms and additional hotel services.
• Communicate any issues or unusual matters to the Duty Manager promptly.
• Take corrective actions to improve safety and maintain a high level of departmental communication.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months of experience in a front‑office or guest‑service role within hospitality.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, disciplined attitude.
• Ability to drive hotel buggies and pass the required test.
• Comprehensive knowledge of hotel departments, services, and outlets.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
