Security Manager

About the role

The Security Manager leads the hotel’s security operations, ensuring safety for guests, staff, and assets. This role involves overseeing surveillance systems, emergency response, and staff training within a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Train security officers on surveillance equipment, reporting, patrols, and first‑aid procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols, monitor staff compliance with house rules, and manage investigations of incidents.
• Maintain and inspect all security equipment, including cameras and alarm systems.
• Provide security coverage for VIP guests and respond to emergencies such as fire, bomb threats, or medical incidents.
• Develop and deliver performance reviews, induction programs, and ongoing training for the security team.

Required profile

• Secondary or high‑school education with SIRA Security Manager certification, CPR, First Aid and basic fire‑fighting certificates.
• Minimum two years of relevant security management experience in a hotel or similar setting.
• Excellent English communication skills, clean criminal record, and professional appearance.
