Security Researcher – Software (UAE National)

About the role

BEACON RED is seeking a UAE National for the position of Security Researcher to support the assessment of IT products, embedded systems, firmware, hardware, and software solutions. In this role you will conduct hands‑on security testing, vulnerability analysis, reverse engineering, and attack‑based assessments to identify security weaknesses and evaluate potential risks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform security evaluations of software, firmware, embedded systems, hardware devices, and IT products.
• Conduct vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, reverse engineering, and logical attack assessments.
• Execute firmware analysis, fuzzing, side‑channel analysis, fault injection, and cryptographic implementation testing.
• Collect, analyse, and document technical evidence and testing results, and produce risk‑based conclusions.
• Stay current with emerging threats, attack techniques, and security research trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Security, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity evaluation, penetration testing, vulnerability research, software or hardware security assessment, embedded systems security, or reverse engineering.
• Good knowledge of English language.
