Senior Accounts & Finance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts & Finance Manager to lead and oversee all financial operations, strategy, and accounting functions of the organization. This role is directly responsible for strategic financial planning, accurate reporting, cash‑flow management, regulatory compliance (IFRS & UAE VAT/Corporate Tax) and robust controls across AP, AR, billing, treasury and auditing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the finance team while driving budgeting, forecasting and executive financial advisory.
• Oversee end‑to‑end accounts payable and receivable processes, credit control and working‑capital optimisation.
• Manage billing, revenue assurance and resolve complex client billing disputes.
• Direct month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing, GL reconciliations and preparation of IFRS‑compliant financial statements.
• Ensure UAE tax compliance, lead statutory audits and maintain strong internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce; Master’s/MBA a plus.
• Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA) preferred.
• 8–12 years finance experience with 3–5 years in a managerial role in the UAE.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
• Proven leadership, analytical thinking and strong English communication.
