Senior AI Engineer – Manager, Tax & Legal Services (Dubai)

About the role

PwC is looking for a Senior AI Engineer – Manager to lead the design and delivery of intelligent automation solutions for its Tax & Legal Services in Dubai. The role combines end‑to‑end ownership of AI systems, from architecture and technology selection to production deployment on Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend AI services, including document processing pipelines and compliance‑checking systems.
• Develop and integrate large language model (LLM) applications with Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) capabilities.
• Implement RESTful APIs, OAuth2/JWT authentication, and Azure Entra ID integration.
• Create and maintain data ingestion pipelines, OCR processing, metadata extraction, and multilingual handling (Arabic preferred).
• Select and manage vector databases and other storage solutions for efficient retrieval.
• Prototype lightweight user interfaces using React or Next.js for internal tools.
• Ensure security, encryption, access control, data masking and audit logging in regulated environments.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering production‑grade AI solutions with high ownership.
• Strong background in backend development and cloud deployment, preferably on Azure.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects from concept to production.
