Senior Android Engineer

About the role

This fully remote position is for a Senior Android Engineer who will help build and enhance Android SDKs and mobile applications that provide device intelligence and fraud‑prevention capabilities. You will work in a globally distributed team, collaborating with backend engineers, product managers, analysts and security researchers to deliver secure, high‑performance mobile solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Android SDKs and applications focused on mobile security and fraud detection.
• Implement advanced detection signals and optimise performance, stability and scalability across Android products.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions and improve detection accuracy.
• Research, prototype and evaluate new methodologies for mobile intelligence and device‑level security.
• Analyse post‑deployment data to refine server‑side logic and enhance overall product effectiveness.
• Maintain open‑source Android projects and demo apps, improving developer experience.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional native Android development experience in a senior capacity.
• Strong background in information security, mobile security or fraud‑prevention technologies.
• Proven ownership of Android applications and SDKs from concept to production.
• Deep understanding of Android internals and modern development practices.
