Senior Architect

About the role

KBR is seeking a Senior Architect to lead the design and delivery of large‑scale, mixed‑use projects in Abu Dhabi. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, shaping concepts through construction while ensuring compliance with regional codes and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage architectural design packages from concept through construction.
• Develop schematic design (SD), FEED, and design development (DD) deliverables and presentations.
• Produce and review architectural drawings, coordinate with contractors, consultants, and engineers.
• Oversee shop drawings, attend progress meetings, and ensure constructability.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor quality and design intent.
• Mentor junior architects and provide technical guidance.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and documentation for clients and project teams.
• Support multidisciplinary projects, including occasional civil drawing coordination.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred).
• 10‑15+ years of experience on large‑scale or mixed‑use projects, preferably in the Middle East.
• Strong knowledge of regional building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
• Proven leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
