Senior Associate – Satellite Operations

About the role

Edge is seeking a Junior Satellite Operations Associate to support the commanding, controlling and health monitoring of its satellites on orbit. The position is hands‑on and designed for recent graduates eager to build a career in satellite operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily pass operations, including pre‑pass preparation, real‑time monitoring, and post‑pass reporting.
• Support mission planning, pass scheduling and verification of successful data acquisition.
• Maintain operations logs, shift handover records, anomaly reports and configuration records.
• Assist senior engineers in anomaly investigations, trend analysis and telemetry review.
• Travel internationally to ground‑station sites, partner facilities and training programmes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• 0–2 years of experience, including internships, university satellite projects or CubeSat programmes.
• Exposure to real‑time operations or control‑room environments is desirable.
