About the role
Lead and execute external audit engagements for banks and finance companies, ensuring compliance with BDO methodology and high‑quality documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, perform and report audit procedures for financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards.
- Manage the audit project from inception to completion, including client communication and timely delivery of deliverables.
- Identify and discuss audit and accounting issues, propose resolutions and present findings to audit committees or boards.
- Stay updated on local regulations, IFRS changes and audit methodology, proactively advising clients.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
- 3‑4 years of banking audit experience, preferably with a Big 4/Big 6 firm.
- Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent.
- Fluent English with strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
Required skills
- IFRS Accounting Standards (especially IFRS 9 and IFRS 15).
- Banking audit methodologies.
- Auditing and financial reporting.
- Regulatory requirements for financial services.
