Senior Audit & Assurance – UAE (Abu Dhabi/Dubai)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior professional in Audit & Assurance to join its UAE team, operating from Abu Dhabi and Dubai. You will work with a diverse client base, delivering high‑quality audit services while building trust with stakeholders and contributing to Deloitte’s purpose of making an impact that matters.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand service expectations and deliver tailored audit solutions.
• Deliver high‑quality audit work, applying knowledge of regulations, risk management, and business processes.
• Prepare and adapt referral instructions, defining audit scope and focus areas.
• Coordinate with on‑shore and off‑shore Centres of Excellence, ensuring accurate information exchange.
• Track deliverables from component auditors and integrate findings across the audit file.
• Articulate audit quality milestones and challenge audit timing to improve efficiency.
• Prepare documentation that anticipates reviewer questions and clearly separates accounting from auditing judgments.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to build credibility with clients and understand their specific needs.
• Strong awareness of regulatory impact on business processes and controls.
• Experience in managing audit scope, risk assessment, and quality milestones.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with global teams and component auditors.
• Proactive attitude toward developing relationships beyond the finance function.
